Nevertheless, the responsibility begins with each individual. Join in with the employees who are aware of what is going on around them; know what is expected of them and who respect the following:

 

Your job is not an isolated role; it functions in relation to other jobs within Accord Health Group. Other employees are depending on you to participate in the team, to do your share to the best of your ability. Support one another. Offer a hand to assist another colleague if the situation warrants. Absence does not make the heart grow fonder, especially when another person has to take an extra load of work to cover for you. Avoid any unnecessary absence or tardiness and always follow the call-in procedures.

 

You are a representative of Accord Health Group.  Your ready smile and friendly greeting means much to our patients, families and visitors.  You help distinguish our service as one that delivers hospitality and care services in a friendly, sincere, and caring manner.

 

Punctuality is important in helping your department complete its work efficiently and on time. Remember our customers are counting on you.

 

Personal conduct is a matter of consideration. Conduct yourself in a manner, which is considerate of other employees and conducive to good hospitality and health care services. Disorderly conduct is always out of line!  Remember you are the guest in our patients’ home and you need to act accordingly.  Be responsible, professional, and compassionate.

 

Accident prevention can happen if you follow the safety regulations provided for your duties. Use equipment properly.

 

Please remember for those employees that smoke that smoking is never permitted in patients homes or in our office or cars.  Please be considerate of others and their health.  Remember, that families can become offended with the smell of smoke in their home.
